Introduction

���Shanghai Jenny-Wellen Instiute of Special Materials was founded in the eighties.It was developed rom"The ShanghaiSpecial materials Factory"and"The ShanghaiSpecial AlloysFactory".In the instiute the special materials and the special alloys are developed and their products are manufactured.
���In institure there are about thirty scientists and engineers.They have rich experiences for researching and manufacturing special materials and products that are made out of special materials.The instiute has about thirty cooperatively managing enterprises.Allepuipment can be used by the induction furnaces (25KG-6T),electroslag furnaces (20-500KG),vacuum consumable electrode furnaces (500KG-10T),hot rolling mill (1200mm,2200mm,3200mm,)cold rolling mill (1200mm,1400mm,)forging press,casting machine,vacuumor nonvacuum or nonvacuum heat treatment furnaces,and all kinds of instruments for physical and chemical testing.
���All materials and products are manufactured according to ASTM, AMS or mll standards.Thematerisls are Ni-Cu alloy (Monel),Ni-Cr alloy (Inconel),Ni-Fe-Cr-Mo-Cu Alloys (Incoloy and Hastelloy),Cu-Ni alloy (C70600 and C71500),Co and Co ally (UMCo50),Ti and Ti alloy,as well as W alloy. The products are bar,tube and pipe,,plate and sheet,band and strip,electrode and welding wire,clad plate,forging,casting,pressure vessel and so on.They can be used in chemical industry,nuclear industry,shipbuilding,as well as aviation and spaceflight industries.The products of JWL are for:
1. Petroleum industry.for instance,Multi-step centrifugal pump shafts,Oil-gas separator shafts and Equalizer of Latent-oil electrical [ump system. Shell of the oill drawing pump,and the wrapping material for oill submerging cable.
2. Petroleum chemical industry. For instance,reaction container,tower,cooler,and heat exchanger for all kinds of acids,alkalis,syntheric fibres,organic solvents.
3. Chemical industry.For instance,electrolyzer,vessel of military reaction and valve.
4. Nuclear industry.For instance, reactor, reacrorfor military or cicil, special material materials of HF resistance and F2 resistance.
5. Ship building industry.For instance,all kinds of materials and products of sea water resistance.
