上海朱家角工业园区（市级）位于全国历史文化名镇朱家角镇南，总规划面积8平方公里，首期开发1.6平方公里，享受市级工业园区的优惠政策。
    朱家角位于上海西郊淀山湖畔，地理位置优越，全镇总面积138平方公里。境内地势平坦，地面高度3.0-3.8，四周湖荡密布、港河交错、水质清纯，是典型的江南水乡。作为市政府“一城九镇”之一的朱家角中心城镇建设于2002年3月正式启动。
    从朱家角镇的总体布局看，南面是工业区，中间是古镇旅游区，北面是特色居住区，西面是淀山湖风景区。
    目前，首期工业园区道路、供水、供电等各项基础设施已全面完善，一个崭新的工业园区正在逐步形成。按照市、区“一业特强、多业发展”的总体要求，朱家角镇工业产业发展方向是文教、体育类休闲用品制造业，并形成产业基地，给予政策聚集，重点扶持。
    旅游休闲设施闻名中外，淀山湖畔的上海水上运动场是具有国际现代化水上设施的活动中心，设施规模全国一流的东方绿舟－上海市青少年素质教育野外营地，上海太阳岛国际俱乐部，上海国际高尔夫乡村俱乐部等集商务、度假、休闲为一体的娱乐旅游基地。
